One of our company Jeeps, the 1998 4.0L XJ finally was losing it's factory exhaust and the chunks of rust on the garage floor when you closed the door sealed the deal!
Many of you may be thinking, "oh man, that stinks!" If you are, you don't have the "jeep bug" quite yet. To me, this was an exciting opportunity to add another new toy to this already great Jeep!

For our Jeep I selected the 15856 stainless cat back exhaust. Once you see this thing you almost feel bad mounting it underneath your Jeep as it's just too good lookin'.
The muffler is polished and the inlet, outlet and tubing are all 2.5" mandrel-bent all welded setup. The tailpipe is the best! It is straight out the back in the factory location and is finished in a 3.5" stainless tip with "Magnaflow" laser-etched on both sides. Looks alone make it worth the replacement..
Did I mention it sounds better? Oh baby! Much throatier but not annoying on the road. Perfect set up. Still can carry on a converstation at highway speeds but can certainly feel a bit more power.
While we were at it we also replaced the converter to complete the deal with the Magnaflow direct-fit converter #23226 as ours was falling off the Jeep!
This was not only a necessary replacement in our case but a big improvement in looks and power to better compliment the other OME/ARB and Husky products already installed.
