So, my 03 Wrangler Rubicon had an unfortunate meeting with a brick wall. It rolled in reverse, down my driveway, 400 feet, across a street and into a house. Thank God, no-one was hurt.
The insurance company totaled the Jeep. So, I decided to buy it back out of salvage and see if I could get it repaired at least to the degree that it would be a good offroad toy.
A good friend, Bob Gay, who has a business manufacturing antique auto parts (Nurex.com), referred me to Nagy's Body Shop.
I couldn't be more thankful for that referral. Nagy's was extremely flexible and did a fantastic job. They did a lot more than just repair my Rubicon. They helped me customize it.
Here's a brief list of what they did:
After it was done, I brought it home, cleaned it up. It looks better than it did before the accident. My hard doors and hard top fit perfectly. Obviously, the little extra customization they did helps, but even the body looks better because of the extra time they put in. I was hoping to get it usable for 4 wheeling, maybe street legal. I ended up with the nicest Jeep I've ever owned. I couldn't give Nagy's a higher recommendation if you are looking for someone to do some body work.
