K& Air Intake for Wrangler (4.0 Litre)

More air = better performance.  In theory, the more air your Jeep can take in, the better it will drive-the more powerful it will feel.  Most of us know that adding a 2 to3 hundred dollar air intake to our 4 litre isn't going to set the world on fire, but it's still fun to do.

I opted for the K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit (FIPK).  It's about $270.00 and comes with everything you need to install.  In fact, I installed mine on my '03 Wrangler in about 20 minutes.

From a performance standpoint, the K & N does make a difference.  I run 31's on my Jeep, so I had lost a little zip off the line.  In my opinion, the FIPK gets you back to where you started with the factory 30 inch wheel and tire package that comes on a sport, while running the larger tires.  It also sounds great when you get into the throttle.  The air intake creates a nice throaty sound as the RPMs climb.

I would definately recommend the K&N air intake for anyone who's looking for a little more performance and likes to hear the motor when driving.  Don't count on huge gas mileage gains though!
