Buchanan Jeep Seat Risers

If you've been driving Jeeps for a while, you've probably noticed that the seats in TJs are particularly low.  Especially in 03 and later models.  My Rubicon is an '03.  So, I started looking for ways to "lift" my seats.  Well, I came across a really cool product.  Buchanan Seat Risers.

They're an aluminum riser that mounts between the floorboard and the seat frame.  They're extremely easy to install and come with hardened bolts etc.  It took me about 20 minutes to install mine.  I went with the 1" risers, but Buchanan offers them 1", 1 1/2"  and 2" sizes.

Now, everyone that drives my Jeep notices "boy, your Jeep sure sits up high, did you do something to the seats?".

These risers are great because they give you a bit of extra visibility over the hood and passenger side of the Jeep, especially off road if you find yourself in tight spots from time to time.

I can't recommend these seat risers highly enough.  They'll make your Jeep more comfortable and easier to drive.

From Buchanan Engineering Website:

The kits consist of 8 ea. Machined, Black Anodized Aluminum Blocks, 8 ea. Grade 8 Bolts and Hard Washers, along with instructions. One kit does both seats. 1” kits are for people 5’10” and above, 1 ½” kits are for 5’6” to 5’8-9”, and 2” are for people5’6” and under. THESE SIZE RANGES ARE VERY ACCURATE.
