Bestop Super Doors for Jeep TJ
Bestop Superdoors are a great addition to a TJ Wrangler! When I bought my '03 TJ Sport, I opted for the soft top with the full steel doors from the factory. In the winter, the full steel doors are great, but in the summer taking them off and putting them back on all the time can be a bit cumbersome. I used to have a 97 TJ with a hard top, so I boutght a Bestop Supertop with full soft, split doors. That was the perfect combination! Now that I have the soft top and the full steel doors though, I don't need the whole thing, and this last year, Bestop brougth their "Superdoors" to the market.
The Superdoors are the ideal door for summertime driving and 4 wheeling because you can store your steel doors in a safe dry spot for the summer, and pop your soft doors off at a moments notice. With the split doors, you can take the windows off and put them neatly behind the back seat, or you can go without doors all together and take both the windows and the half doors off and store both back there. They tuck in very nicely, even with the soft top down.
I looked and so far, the best price I've found has been from Summit Racing Equipment right here in Ohio, about $310.00 for a pair of superdoors. I ordered 'em and had them in my garage, ready to install in about 3 weeks.
